Which oils to care for children?

I keep telling on TV and elsewhere as almonds, walnuts, hazelnuts and dried fruits are delicious, healthy snacks for children ... They contain good fats and, as far as we do not consume too, are much more marked in the daily diet as chocolate bars ... So I told myself that I had never delivered to my blog some tips based on vegetable oils derived from nuts to take care of children.
Here you will find tips and tricks pros with the right oils for bobos bobos small and their mom!
The Vegetable Oils: child-friendly!
Virgin vegetable oils are the result of pressure from oilseeds such as almond, walnut, hazelnut, and also olive, sunflower etc we know better.
Organic vegetable oil
Put oil! ;-)
These are not essential oils. They contain no aromatic molecules (with exceptions) and most of them are no cons-indications for small and large. They can be used internally and externally! This is a real first aid kit, very soft ...
Buy only virgin and organic vegetable oils (click the link to a sensible shopping from producers I know).
And essential oils? I know you will ask me, so here is a memory aid, even though it would take a whole book:
For children under 3 years, simply avoid essential oils except lavender or wood Ho or petitgrain bitter orange or chamomile dosed at maximum 1% of the formula
(cosmetics)> For children 3 6, follow the advice above, but you can go up to 3% in your wellness non-therapeutic formulas, and also use the essential oil of pure and immortal only locally on a sudden, a blue or bump ... Ditto for the true lavender and lavender for a nasty sting or button or any other reasons. No ingestion of essential oils at this age
!!> For children 6-14 years old, practice and adults BUT dividing the dose read from a serious book published by two!

WHAT VEGETABLE OILS FOR OUR CHILDREN?

Sweet almond: the best known
With sweet almond oil, it is of course massage the irritated buttocks baby or a hydrate dry skin and damaged, but can also and it is less known, remove the cradle cap of the head of a baby .
One can soak generously with a cotton pad or sponge each crust with olive oil or apricot kernel and leave for 30 minutes before gently pinch your fingertips to loosen each crust. Caution, do not use your nails and do not scratch the crust must deprive himself of herself. If the crusts are very sticky and still adhere, use a comb (comb lice) to help you.
Shopping products that I recommend: virgin sweet almond and organic Aromatic Reference  (click), Sweet Almond Organic Saint Hilaire (click), this oil is also available in 200ml in Saint Hilaire, and finally the  sweet Almond BiofAngelica (click) .

Calendula: a guardian angel for small-busting moves

Calendula oil is actually an oil maceration. This means that it is olive oil or virgin sunflower, in which macerated several weeks of marigold flowers, calendula gardens.
The calendula flowers have freed their oil anti-inflammatory agents, soothing, calming, and also a good dose of antioxidant vitamins such as beta-carotene.
With calendula oil on children, you can practice a great massage in case of belly ache. This soft and warm oil soothes colic.
We heated mass a few drops into the palms on the belly, in the direction of clockwise. Also ideal bedtime to relax.
Calendula oil is also great for sunburn, the small burns and irritations (fall, rubbing of the skin against a wall, etc.).

Omega 3 for brain!

Children, developing, have everything to gain by consuming more omega 3. These are essential fatty acid complex, and the ideal is to consume them in place of saturated or trans fats (butter, mayonnaise, cream cheese, margarine , ...).
Omega 3 promotes the nervous exchange in the brain and boost immunity. This is why we did enjoy the kids cod liver oil in the past (but then, fashion has gone LOL).đŸ˜‰
The goal is not to consume more fat to children, but to ensure they consume good when it is the occasion:
  • We can offer them some virgin oil bio nuts from organic canola or camelina bio  (click) on the bread in place of butter or margarine. These three oils are among the richest in omega 3, and the most easy to find at the supermarket. Linseed oil or perilla or pumpkin seeds are also interesting, but the children like much less. Attention fat is replaced by another, it does not add fat to the child's diet (one tablespoon Coffee oil replaces a teaspoon of butter or mayonnaise for example).
  • One can make mayonnaise with sunflower oil but mixed in equal parts with organic rapeseed oil
  • We do enjoy a sweet vinaigrette children with walnut oil and camelina when possible.
These tips were shown on video on TV in the show "A Guy, A chief" of the RTBF Wednesday, 4 November 2015 (click for review).
