The Belgian cosmetics in slow fashion!

You remember, in the 90s, the success of Belgian designers for Fashion?
It seemed to me recently that the world of natural cosmetics is also a sector where Belgian show creativity and talent!
I spoke recently at RTBF television and wanted to share this with you.
Here are recent shots heart for Cosmetics Slow Belgian products that come out ...

The Belgian small are increasingly active in the cosmetics segment. Since 2012, more than 10 brands are born in the territory. What seems to characterize? It is the originality and innovation!
The Belgians are for cosmetics as for the mode (that's Belgian ;-)): they do otherwise and revolutionizing codes ...
Here are three brands that are winners of the Slow Cosmetics Mention. These brands are all guaranteed "made in Belgium" and without plastic, doubtful or synthetic petrochemical ingredients!

1) Senz offers us to customize our products:

senz cosmetics
I regularly in Senz, a very nice studio and a beautiful boutique brand.
Senz brand cosmetics was born through Trenteseaux Sophie, who created his own start-up after a marketing career with a major brand (Beiersdorf and Nivea).
She wanted to provide natural care and Slow Cosmetics that are more personalized possible ... His solution? Flavor with a few drops of essential oil shampoo or neutral cream she has the secret.
It focus primarily uses noble vegetable oils for its creams formulas (jojoba and rosehip), and offers essential oils synergies that can add to the cream according to skin type. So, it has an active base cream itself as rich in vitamins and good fats, but it customizes for a more targeted effect on his problems to himself.
Example: you can add to the light cream SENZ Cosmetics Jojoba 10 drops of the synergy of essential oils "Soothing" specially formulated by SENZ to soothe dry skin or who blushed too easily, because the synergy target its action on the calm and quiet the "fire" of the skin.
The shop is Senz 1050 Brussels, Simonis Street (near the Place du Chatelain). It makes homemade cosmetics manufacturing facilities too, the most famous of Belgium!
The products are also arranged on the web about the slow store Senz (click)

2) IMWE prevents palm oil!

Candice Barbé imwe
Candice Barbé Imwe in his lab.
Candice Barbé, the creator of this range, wanted to create products that are not only truly natural and organic if possible active compounds, but are also the least possible pollutants in every sense of the word.
She opted for the "palm-free", that is to say that even palm oil derivatives accepted in the usual organic compositions are not part of the ingredients for IMWE products.
It also opted for packaging recyclable cups .
Example: body lotion Silky Saluka is super generous in its 200ml format, and its formula favors emulsifiers and fats derived from coconut palm and no derivative.
For smoothness and penetrating Imwe mixes the ingredients with ceramides from wheat and corn starch.
Several points of sale Imwe exist in each Belgian province. You can also order the IMWE products from France or Belgium on the internet via slow IMWE shop here (click).

3) Second Nature cajoles us without preservatives!

lavender milk
A very sweet milk with lavender essential oils without!
The sparkling Perrine Rase, a native of Brabant, created the brand cosmetics Second Nature to erase the stereotypes that say organic cosmetics is not glamorous, does not feel good or not feminine.
The challenge it was launched? Market, healthy formulas and environmentally friendly, glamorous and pleasant as conventional cosmetics, but not essential oils and preservatives!
The result: a range of products suitable for sensitive skin, that showcases vegetable oils and plant extracts "high tolerance". The products are also sold in some pharmacies in the country.
Example: for his body milk nutrition high Lavender, Second Nature chose aqueous extracts of lavender, and has retained its formula with pH balance of its formula and as an "airless" packaging that does not breathable.
The products therefore carry an expiration date rather than the usual logo "24 months" after (Logo jar opened with 12M or 24M).
Second Nature products are sold in fifteen pharmacies in Francophone Belgium, in fifteen specialty shops, and also on the slow online store Second Nature (click).

So what do you think of the Belgian cosmetics in slow mode?
